The IT ALL HAPPENS HERE™ series from Stories of You Books celebrates remarkable communities—in organizations and groups of all shapes and sizes, online networks, or geographical locations—and the extraordinary individuals that shape them. SoYou Spotlight editions showcase the work of three individuals in the same profession—often but not always the visual or literary arts—who live in the same town or city, providing a unique glimpse of that community and the way it impacts the lives of those who live there.

This first SoYou Spotlight volume includes essays by three women writers, all of whom live in Vero Beach, Florida. Sue Holbrook is a fifth-generation Floridian, while Linda Gordon Hengerer and Suzanne Fox both came here from the north. Linda is a writer of cozy mysteries, Sue’s work melds memoir and religion, and Suzanne is working on a historical novel. Not just their output but also their backgrounds, interests and writing processes are dramatically different. Yet they all share a commitment to their craft, an appreciation for the support their work enjoys, a dedication to serving their readers well, and a deep gratitude for all that Vero Beach gives them. This is a brief but illuminating look at writing, creative process and Vero Beach, Florida.

But all share an appreciation for the literary and cultural community of Vero Beach.
